Role of a Judge
Purpose
Judges will evaluate the marketing strategies and deliverables created by participant teams, assessing each based on innovation, feasibility, and potential impact on the assigned nonprofit’s mission.
Judging Criteria
- Creativity and innovation in campaign design
- Effectiveness of proposed strategies (email, social media, SEM, etc.)
- Feasibility and real-world potential for implementation
Time Commitment
2–3 hours in the evening, including team presentations, deliberation, awards, and a post-event networking happy hour.

Judges play a critical role in shaping real strategies that can directly strengthen the outreach and marketing capacity of local mission-driven organizations.
Networking
Connect with top marketers, creative professionals, non-profit leaders, and the next generation of marketing talent.

As a judge, you’ll directly contribute to the success of Bay Area nonprofits and help amplify their missions through stronger marketing strategies.
Recognition
Judges will be acknowledged during the event, featured across AMA SF’s social channels, and included in post-event recaps.
